We deliver a wide range of certified First Aid & CPR courses including Occupational First Aid, First Aid Response (PHECC), Emergency First Aid, Basic First Aid, Paediatric First Aid for Childcare, Paediatric First Aid for Parents, Sports First Aid and Cardiac First Responder.  Courses can be tailored to suit your own occupational requirements.

Under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act all staff must be provided with training in safe manual handling techniques.  Our three hour course will help participants appreciate the importance of lifting correctly in order to reduce the risk of manual handling related injuries.  Incorrect Manual Handling is responsible for almost one third of all workplace accidents reported to the Health & Safety Authority.  This programme will provide participants with the skills and techniques required to carry out manual handling tasks safely.

Our one day course will help nursing staff, healthcare workers and carers carry out patient handling tasks safely.  Participants will learn how to assist, handle and move patients safely as well as use patient handling equipment correctly.

Food Safety

We deliver two Food Safety courses.  Basic Food Safety & Hygiene HACCP Level 1 is a basic awareness course that should be completed by anyone in the food sector before they commence handling food.  Our Food Safety & Hygiene HACCP Level 2 is a more comprehensive course and incorporates the Level 1 course and is suitable for anyone responsible for preparing, cooking, handling and storing food.

We deliver two fire safety programmes.  Our Fire Safety & Awareness course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards in the workplace.  It will help participants identify hazards, reduce risks and protect themselves in the event of a fire. Our Fire Warden's Course is more comprehensive and is suitable for staff who have been nominated as Fire Warden's.

Abrasive Wheels Training is essential to ensure that operators have the information and skills necessary to allow for the safe use of abrasive wheels. This training is an important part of accident prevention, and it helps to protect both the operator and those around them.

Display screen equipment (DSE) assessments are not only a legal requirement - done correctly they can actually help combat the musculoskeletal disorders, reduced concentration levels and other ill-health effects that are symptomatic of time spent at poorly-designed workstations.  This course incorporates the use of  tablets, notebooks, laptops and mobile phones.

General Health & Safety Courses

We deliver a range of general health & safety in the workplace courses which can be tailored to suit your own environment and circumstances, ensuring the training is relevant to your staff.
