Course Overview

Our Food Safety & Hygiene HACCP Level 2 programme is a comprehensive one day course and is suitable for anyone working in the food sector.  On completion of the course participants will be capable of implementing food safety processes and procedures effectively.  Both HACCP Level 1 and Level 2 are covered in the syllabus, so no previous experience or training is required to attend.


Course Objectives

On completion of this course participants will:

  • Understand the importance of correct preparation, storage, handling and cooking of food

  • Be aware of the legal responsibilities of those working with food

  • Be familiar with the structural requirements of a food premises

  • Be able to recognise a pest infestation and how to control it

  • Be understand the importance of cleaning and cleaning schedules

  • Be able to understand and explain the purpose of HACCP principles

  • Be capable of implementing effective Food Safety Processes & Procedures

Successful participants receive a Primary Food Hygiene HACCP Level 2 Certificate which is valid for three years.
