This is a practical 2.5 hour session and is perfect for parents, grandparents, childminders etc. The session will give you the confidence to deal with the common medical emergencies that may be experienced when caring for children and infants. Participants will also learn life saving skills such as CPR and how to deal with a choking incident. It is a particularly helpful session for new parents, grandparents etc. as it is designed to be an open and interactive discussion where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and any voice any concerns.

On completion of this course participants will:
Be able to assess a child or infant who may be ill or injured
Be capable of identifying common medical conditions and treating accordingly
